CEER, Saudi Arabia’s first electric vehicle brand, has awarded a $1.3 billion contract to Modern Building Leaders for the construction of its state-of-the-art Electric Vehicle Manufacturing Complex in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). Supported by global industry leaders such as Dürr and Siemens, the facility will cover over 1 million square meters, including 530,000 square meters under roof, and will feature dedicated zones for all stages of EV production. This strategic project is a key component of Vision 2030, driving forward the Kingdom’s ambition to become a leading hub for sustainable mobility and advanced manufacturing.

Shuaibah 3 IWP is to construct seawater desalination plant based on Reverse Osmosis technology. The project is located in the region of Shuaibah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The capacity of the potable water production is 600,000 m³/day using Reverse Osmosis (RO). Seawater will be extracted from the seawater intake system by Seawater Supply Pumps (SSPs) and transported to RO membranes through Dual Media Filters and Cartridge Filters. Power requirement for the plan will be fed from the Grid-SEC and Captive Solar PV (65 MWp).

Al-Shuaibah Solar PV IPP 2.66GW is situated in the Makkah Province, the Al Shuaibah PV 1 & 2 will have a capacity of 600 MW and 2,031 MW respectively, and are capable of powering approximately 450,000 households. The total investment in the plant amounts to US$2.37 billion, and commercial operations will commence in 2025.
